From the epoch of the “Jahiliyyah”, which is the the period of time and state of affairs in Arabia before the advent of Islam, to the present moment, the conflict between the believers of the Salafi or Wahhabi school of thought “almuminin” and the disbelievers“ murtadun’, have facilitated the sectarian conflict currently witnessed in the Middle East and parts of Southeast Asia of the last 300 years.
